Text | Arlis W. Fields, age 58, passed away Monday May 14, 2001, at the Red Rose Inn in Cassville, Mo. Mr. Fields was born March 25, 1943 in Shell Knob. Mo., the son of Avery and Grace Golden Fields. He lived in Washburn most of his life. He had been a welder for Thorco Spot Welding in Cassville. He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Faith United Methodist Church in Eagle Rock. He had been divorced and has a son of Cassville, who survives. Other survivors include two brothers; one half-brother; two sisters; one half-sister; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marsha Fields. Services were held graveside at the Fields Cemetery in Shell Knob on Thursday, May 17. Visitation was held Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at the Wheaton Funeral Home in Wheaton, Mo. The rev. Jack Wogoman officiated. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to be made in care of the Wheaton Funeral Home. |
