Obit For Naomi (Henderson) (Mizer) Ferguson

Text Naomi Ferguson, 95, of Purdy, died Monday, January 23, 2006 at Red Rose Inn in Cassville. Mrs. Ferguson was born Nov 15, 1910, in Purdy, the daughter of the late Wesley and Gertrude (Wormington) Henderson. She married Jimmie Mizer in 1929 and he preceded her in death in 1937. She was united in marriage to Henry Ferguson in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1982. Naomi was a retired cook from the Purdy School District and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist church in Purdy.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Edwin Davis; one son, Buddy Ray Mizer; three brothers; Earl Henderson, Jim Henderson and Ralph Davis; one sister, Ruby Rickman; and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan 26, 2006 at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett. Rev. Tony Martin and Rev. Doyle Russell will officiate. Burial will be in Arnhart Cemetery, near Purdy.
