Text | J. C. Fawver, 74, prominent banker and community leader of Seligman, Mo., died at the Springfield Baptist Hospital at 9 o’clock Sunday after a short illness.
Mr. Fawver is survived by his wife, a son Walter, and two brothers, C. C. and J. N. Fawver, and a sister, Mrs. Mary A. McCullom, all of Seligman, and by two other sisters, Mrs. Amanda C. Morgan of Garfield, Ark., and Mrs. Lydia V. Collier of Marionville. Born in old Virginia, Mr. Fawver had spent most of his life in Missouri, having lived at Seligman since 1866. |
