| Text | Stona Walter Farwell II, 90, of Eagle Rock, died May 14 at Cox Monett Hospital. Mr. Farwell was born April 14, 1917, in Barry County, the son of Stona Walter and Mattie Lou Pyatt Farwell. He attended the School of the Ozarks and worked in poultryfactories in Ohio, Illinois, and Iowa. He did construction work on Beaver Dam Lake and the lake area and was a farmer. He was a member of Roaring River Baptist Church. He married Martha Kathryn Hutchens in 1946, and she preceded him in death September 9, 2004. Survivors include three sons, of Cassville, Rogers, Arkansas, and of Eagle Rock; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, May 17, at Roach Cemetery in Eagle Rock under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 16, at the funeral home. |
