Text | Richard Allen Erwin, 48, of Washburn, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012, in his home. He was born in Dallas, Texas, on Sept. 16, 1963, the son of Floyd and Rosemary (Painter) Erwin. He was united in marriage on March 1, 2003, at Monett, to Jamie Arnold, who survives.
Additional survivors include: two sons, of Monett, and of Washburn; three daughters, both of De Funiak Springs, Fla., and of Washburn; his father, Floyd Erwin, of Fremont, Neb.; his mother, Rosemary Cox and her husband, Don, of Monett; three sisters Lori Chambers and Susan Busselman and her husband, Mike, all of Monett, and Sherri Erwin, of Omaha, Neb.; and five grandchildren. At a young age, Richard and his family moved to Omaha, Neb., where he received his education. In 1990, he moved to Washburn to make his home. He worked for Red Rose Health and Rehab as a maintenance supervisor. He was a Christian. Memorial services were held today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Fanny Rainey conducted the services. Contributions may be made to Alyssa and Alexander Erwin in care of the funeral home. |
