Josh Edward Erwin was born January 10, 1873 and departed this life November 2, 1933 at the age of 60 years, 9 months and 22 days. He was the son of George and Harriet Erwin. He was married to Bell Ledenham, January 28, 1900. To this union were born three children, Effie, Ethel and Leon. Beside the family he leaves 5 sisters and three brother: Mary Coppedge of Bristow, Okla., Sadie Kelley and Dave of California, George of Galena, Kansas, Kattie Brattin of Joplin, Mo., Lizzie Pilant and Ann McGlothlin of Exeter and Wm. of Wayne. Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church at Exeter by Rev. Chas. Vanzandt, Friday afternoon. The remains were laid to rest in the Maplewood cemetery at Exeter.
