Headline MRS. NOAH ERWIN DIES AFTER LONG SICKNESS
Text Mrs. Noah Erwin, well-known and beloved Exeter woman died at the Cassville Hospital Monday night following a major operation that afternoon. This excellent character has been in ill health the past two years.

Mrs. Erwin is a daughter of Mrs. Mollie Stapleton, long time and highly respected. Exeter woman and was born and reared near Exeter and was 49 years old. Many years ago she was married to Noah Erwin, well known and substantial Exeter resident.

One child, a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Highes of Exeter, survive. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Weatherly of Exeter, and Eunice of Kansas City, and a brother, Roy of Exeter.

Impressive funeral services were conducted by Rev. Chas. VanZandt Thursday afternoon, after which burial was in the Exeter Cemetery, under the direction of Koon Funeral Home. The funeral was a large one and many beautiful floral emblems were received by the bereaved family as an expression of the high esteem in which this excellent woman was held.

She professed faith in Christ at an early age in life, uniting with the Baptist Church and lived a consistent Christian life. The Democrat joins the many friends of the bereaved family in extending sympathy in their sad bereavement.
