Uncle Will Ennes died at his home Jan. 21, about 4 o'clock a. m. Funeral services were conducted at the church Saturday afternoon, after which the body of Uncle Will was laid beside his wife who preceded him to the grave just thirteen days. The bereft child have our warm sympathy.

[paper torn] Mrs. Ennis died January __, age of 75 __ Ennes was ill, at that time and over the loss of his comp __. Funeral was held Saturday conducted by Rev. Riddle and was laid to rest by his wife in Ennis cemetery.

[paper torn] William Ennis was born 1840 in Madison Co., Arkansas. He moved about 40 years ago and lived a few years near Corsicana for awhile and served in the Civil War - Arkansas Calvary, and was honorably discharged. He was called Uncle William and was a farmer.
