| Text | John Englar, a farmer near Verona, age 55 years was burned to death, Wednesday of last week when fire destroyed his home. It is reported that he was working in a field near the house when he first noticed the fire. He rushed to the house and entered the second floor where he was overcome with heat. His wife and seven children escaped. |
