| Text | Otis George England, age 82, of Exeter, passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, in his home. He was born April 27, 1926, in Exeter, and was a son of Ira and Mabeletta (Birkes) England. On May 12, 1948, in Eureka Springs, Ark., he was united in marriage to Ruby Colene McCullah. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. He received his education in Ridgley. He served his country during World War II in the United States Army then worked most of his life farming, raising cattle and poultry. He had a dry wall business in Columbia for a few years. He was a member of the Ridgley Baptist Church and served as a deacon. Funeral services were held Monday at Ridgley Baptist Church under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Burial was in Muncie Chapel Cemetery, Wheaton. |
