Text | Opal Willodean (Dunlap) England, 77, of Shell Knob, died January 27 at her home. Mrs. England was born May 7, 1923, in Chanute, Kansas, the daughter of John L. and Mary Ellen (Wilson) Dunlap. She moved to the Eagle Rock area about 1925 and to Washburn about 1930. She moved to Aurora about 24 years ago. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Catoosa, Oklahoma, and the First Christian Church in Cassville. She married Jack Curtis England on December 3, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Survivors include one son, of South Fork, Colorado; two daughters, of Medford, Oregon, and of Tustin, California; three sisters, of Cassville, of St. Louis, and of Seligman; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, John Dunlap Jr. Services will be 2:30 p.m. tomorrow, January 30, at the First Christian Church in Cassville with Rev. Sid Allsbury officiating. Burial will be in Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Memorials may be made to The Boys Ranch, Gideons, or the church. |
