EXETER, Mo. -- Mrs. Freda I. England, 67, lifetime resident, died at 2:05 a.m. Thursday at Sale Hospital, Neosho, where she had been a patient one week. Mrs. England was born May 18, 1917, near Exeter. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She married Floyd England on Dec. 23, 1931, in Exeter. He died Jan. 1, 1982. She was the daughter of Elbert Benjamin Packwood and Edith Ellis. Surviving are three sons; two daughters; one brother, Gene Packwood, Exeter, 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Axley’s Culver Chapel, Cassville, with the Rev. Rick Patterson and Arnold Ray Evans, minister, officiating. Burial will be Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. |
