| Text | S. B. Embrey, who for many years lived near Rocky Comfort, died at his home January 3, of flu and pneumonia. He was born July 14, 1846. Age 82 years, 5 months and 11 days. He was married to Emma Kelsey, fifty-two years ago. To this union five children were born, three of them surviving. Mr. Embrey united with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church some fifty years ago. He was a soldier in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. He was a good man and lived a consistent Christian life. Funeral services were conducted at Rocky Comfort, on Friday afternoon, January 4, by Rev. Chas. Vanzandt. Burial in the Rocky Comfort cemetery under the direction of the Pogue Funeral Service of Wheaton. |
