Obit For Mrs. Sarah (Mahurin) Ellis

Text Services for Mrs. Sarah M. Ellis, 73, Washburn route 1, who died at 8:40 p.m. last Tuesday at Bates Memorial Hospital, Bentonville, Ark., following a long illness, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Culver Funeral Home, Cassville.

The Rev. Perry Hickman and the Rev. Homer Burns officiated. Burial was in Dent Cemetery, near Washburn.

Mrs. Ellis was born April 7, 1900 in Barry County. She was a member of O.K. Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are her husband, Frank Ellis; four sons Lemmie Ellis, Exeter, and Lloyd Ellis, James Ellis and Bob Ellis, all of Washburn; two daughters, Mrs. Velman Stephens and Mrs. Vivian Vanzandt, both of Washburn; two sisters, Mrs. Maudie Dye, Tulsa, Okla. and Mrs. Effie Hilker, Pierce City; 20 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
