| Text | Elizabeth Ellis was born October 16, 1844 and died August 1, 1934 at the age of 89 years, nine months and 16 days. She was married to R. H. Ellis in December 1867 and to this union were born four children, three daughters and one son, the son dying in 1884. The daughters surviving are Mrs. Alener Banks Garfield, Ark.; Mrs. Emma Eggleston, Washburn, and Mrs. Zula Patterson, Garfield, Ark., and 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She united with the Christian church in 1886 and was baptized by Rev. Green, and lived a faithful Christian life.
