Text | Joe F. Elliott, 54, former resident of Wichita Falls and Stamford, died Monday afternoon in a Mount Vernon, Mo., hospital. Elliott had worked as an engineer for the Wichita Valley Railway 30 years before retiring and moving to his home town Seligman, Mo., about a year ago. Funeral services will be conducted in Seligman. Elliott is survived by his wife, the former Miss Zeta Green of Wichita Falls; one son Curtis Elliott of Stamford: one daughter. Mrs. Homer Bennett of Stamford; five sisters and three brothers. Two sisters and a brother of Mrs. Elliott now reside in Wichita Falls. They are Mrs. H. E. Bradley, Mrs. O.L. McCormick and Tom Green.
