Text | Alma Jean Edmondson, 89, of Cassville, passed away Nov. 20, 2013, following an illness at Colonial Springs Healthcare in Buffalo.
She was born March 22, 1924, to Eugene and Mary (Storck) Carpenter in Omaha, Neb. She was joined in marriage to Donald "Rex" Edmondson on Feb. 11, 1980. She was predeceased by her husband, "Rex", her parents and four brothers, Elmer Carpenter, Charles Carpenter, Walter "Gilbert" Carpenter and William "Ozzie" Carpenter. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Cassville. In Kansas City, she was an active member of the First Free Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Bob Neeley conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville. Contributions may be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in her memory and may be sent or taken to Fohn Funeral Home. |
