Text | Paton "Pate" C. Edmonds, 94, of Eagle Rock, died at 6:05 p.m. February 11 at South Barry County Hospital in Cassville. Mr. Edmonds was born September 26, 1905, near Bethpage, the son of Thomas and Nancy (Berringes) Edmonds. He was a retired farmer and was Eastern Judge of McDonald County. He moved to the Eagle Rock area in 1973. He married Jewell Kelley in 1923, and she preceded him in death September 18, 1960. He married Beulah Clay in January of 1991, and she preceded him in death January 9, 1997. Survivors include three step-sons, of Eagle Rock, and of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one step-daughter, of Commerce, Oklahoma; and one sister, of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Graveside services were 1 p.m. today, February 14, at Roach Cemetery in Eagle Rock with Rev. Jim Clay and Brother Bill Woodmancy officiating, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
