| Text | PVT. Lloyd Edgmond, son of Thomas Edgmond, of near Jenkins, has been killed in action in the Belgium war zone. Mr. Edgmond has been notified by the War Department of the death of his son. Pvt. Edgmond entered the service in the Spring of 1944. He had been overseas only a short time. The list of Barry county young men who have given their lives since Pearl Harbor is now a long one.
