| Text | Services for Perry L. Edens, 56, Washburn, who died at 7:45 p.m. Friday at South Barry County Hospital, Cassville, where he had been a patient the last nine days, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, south of Washburn. The Rev. Jess Higgs and the Rev. John Selleck officiated. Burial was in Corinth Cemetery, southeast of Cassville, under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home, Cassville. Mr. Edens was born Jan. 24, 1920, at Washburn and was a lifetime resident here. He was employed at Town and Country Market and was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bertha Edens, Washburn, and a sister, Mrs. Opal Bennett, Marionville. |
