Donald E. Eden, 76, of Joplin, died at 1 a.m. yesterday, June 22, at National Healthcare in Joplin.
Mr. Eden was born May 8, 1930, in Cassville, the son of Robert Lincoln and Nellie Pearl Roden Eden. He had been a truck driver for Gold Building Supply for several years. He was also a beekeeper.
He married on June 9, 1949, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Additional survivors include two daughters, both of Joplin, three sons, one brother, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, June 24, at Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary in Joplin. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. tomorrow at Bethel Cemetery south of Monett.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today, June 23, at the funeral home.
