Charles Easley son of the late Edward and Mary Russell Easley was born March 8, 1877 near Eagle Rock and departed this life June 16, 1964 in Cassville at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 8 days. He spent his entire life in the Eagle Rock community where he was engaged in farming. He was united in marriage to Lilly Mae Farwell and to this union nine children were born: Mrs. Vesta Ball of Anderson, CA, Mrs. Thelma Bransohn of Kansas City, MO, Henry Easley, Everett, Rayburn and Homer Easley of Eagle Rock, Mrs. Truda Gallagher of Walnut Creek, CA, Mrs. Minnie Williamson of Cassville, Maudy who passed away in 1918. Mrs. Easley passed away March 26, 1920. Other survivors include two brothers, Finis Easley of Eagle Rock and Floid Easley of Cassville. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Clyde McCormack and Rev. Loren Easley with burial in the Easley Cemetery. |
