| Text | Helen Irene (Cantrell) Easley, 100, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, in her home. She was born April 19, 1908, in Marshfield, the daughter of Albert and Jannie (McCormick) Cantrell. She was united in marriage to Guy Easley, who preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 1980. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ray Cantrell; a daughter, Carol Schieler; a son, John Easley; and a granddaughter, Linda Williams. She received her education in Parsons, Kan. She lived in Oak Park, Ill., then moved to Cassville 50 years ago. She worked at Dell's Café in Cassville as a waitress for several years. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Cassville. Funeral services were held Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial was at in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville. |
