Text | W.W. Dyer was 69 years old, born and reared in Barry County where he lived all his life. W.W. Walker, old timer & highly respected farmer residing near McDowell, passed away in his home early Monday morning following an illness with heart trouble which struck him Sunday afternoon.
William Walker was born Dec. 17, 1869 at the old Dyer farm near ?McDowell?. He was the oldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Calvin _____ (Dyer?) ______ and respected citizens of this county during _______. Many _________ united in marriage to Miss Sabina Marbut. __________ two daughters and one son. He is also survived by four ________ Cassville, MO, Joe of Springfield, George ________ G. Dyer, both of Carthage and ?Edgar? whose address is unknown. Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. Funeral services were held at the Marbut church near his home Wednesday afternoon conducted by A? Sherman Erikson after which burial was in the Calton Cemetery under the direction of the K____ Funeral Home of Cassville. The funeral was largely attended and many beautiful floral emblems as an impression of the high esteem in which this splendid character was held. At an early age _____ life, Mr. Dyer professed faith in Christ and lived ___ __sistent Christian life. His friends were numerous, not only in his home community but over the__ country in general. He was a hard worker and _____ citizen and always ____________ betterment ______ country. ___________ a kind ___ing husband. _______ His every act was good and he stood high in the estimation of acquaintances.
