Text | Miss Louisa Eliza Dunlap died at the home of her nephew, Wm Joslin, in this city Monday afternoon, death being due to infirmities of old age.
She was born in Carroll County, Ark., and was 81 years, 11 months and 9 days old. She was the daughter of the late Uncle Eli Dunlap, a well known and highly respected citizen of this city and county who died in 1905 in Cassville. She was the sister of Mrs. Hannah Joslin and had resided in this city for the past 35 years, when she came here with her parents. She was a member of the Christian church and impressive funeral services were conducted at the church in Cassville Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Chas Vanzanadt of Exeter. Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery here. Miss Dunlap was an excellent character and loved by all who know her. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Joslin and Mrs. Jack Johnson of near this city.
