Text | James Carroll "J.C." Duncan, age 74, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009, in his home.
He was born May 19, 1934, in Exeter, Missouri, and was a son of Henry Duncan and Anna (Reed) Duncan. On June 4, 1955, he was united in marriage to Patty Jean Killion. J.C. received his education in Wheaton, Missouri. After graduating from high school, he attended University of Tulsa where he played basketball and was a member of the 1954-55 Hall of Fame Team. He began coaching at Cassville in 1956, where he taught for thirty-one years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cassville. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Cecil Duncan. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) March 11, 2009, in Cassville First Baptist Church under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. James Weaver, Pastor Doyle Russell and Jason Mackey conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville. |
