Text | Cecil R. Duncan, 80, of Cassville, died yesterday, July 5, 2006, in Springdale, Arkansas.
Mr. Duncan was born August 7, 1925, in Exeter, the son of Henry and Anna (Reed) Duncan. He was a graduate of Wheaton High School and a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a dairy farmer and plant foreman for Kraft Foods in Wheaton and Bentonville, Arkansas, until retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Wheaton School Board for 12 years and was president of the board for six years. He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. He married Pauline Hussey on November 9, 1944, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Survivors include one son, one brother, one grandchild and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville with Brother Steve Higgs officiating. Burial will be in Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, July 7, at the funeral home. |
