Text Homer Conway Dummitt, 73, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 at his home on Route 1, Winslow in the Bunyard Community.

He was born Dec. 30, 1899 at Monett, Mo., the son of Robert D. and Minnie Williamson Dummitt. He was a retired employee of the Frisco Railway.
Surviors are the widow, Gladys McMillan Dummitt of the home; one daughter Mrs. Ed (Betty) Overton, Jr. of Springdale; four sons, Edwin Dummitt of Cassville, Mo., Paul Dummitt of Corinth, Miss., Hubert Dummitt of Port Orchard, Wash., and Jimmy Dummitt of Springdale; three brothers, Troy of Hackett, Calif. Cliff of Morrell, Nebr., and Robert Dummit of Alaska; and seven sisters, Mrs. Edith Allenbaugh of Porter Valley, Calif., Mrs. Flora Anderson of California, Mrs. Nellie Prevo of Taylor, Mich., Mrs. Clarence Brown of Jay, Okla., Mrs. Hershell White of Joplin, Mo., Mrs. Juanita Looney of Murrwell, Nebr., and Mrs. Louis Preston of Colony, Kans.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Callison-Sisco Chapel with the Rev. Dee Smith of Winslow officiating. Burial will be in Friendship cemetery under the direction of Callison-Sisco Funeral Home.
