| Text | Fontaine D. Dummit, 64, of Whittier, died at his home yesterday after a long illness.
The former Springfield resident had been a member of the National Avenue Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Clara Fern; two daughters, Penny, of the home and Mrs. Mary Lee Hickey, of Bellbiew, Wash.; and two sons, Steve and Jim, of Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Rose Hills Memorial Funeral Home, and burial is to be in the Rose Hills Memorial Cemetery, Whittier. Research Note: Son of Manford Dummit, native of Kings Prairie, and Grandson of Flemmon R. & Ludema (Marbut) Dummit. |
