Headline DUMMIT RITES ON KINGS PRAIRIE, SATURDAY
Text Funeral services for Fleming R. Dummit, 81, pioneer Kings Prairie farmer who died last Friday afternoon, were held Saturday afternoon at the Union Methodist church on Kings Prairie. the Rev. Jack North of Springfield officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under Blankenship's direction.

Music for the service was furnished by a quartet composed of Mrs. Courtman Pennel, Spencer Smith, Chalmer Medlin, and Ralph Davis. They sang "It Is Well With My Soul', "Have Thine Own Way" and "Chuch in the Wildwood", the latter in accordance with Mr. Dummit's wishes.

Honorary pallbearers Robert Vogt, Homer McIntosh, F. A. Wightman, F. A. Cornell, W. Vance Davis, Ben Burg and Dennis Horine. Active pallbearers were Allen Long, John Long, Raymond Pharris, Estel Jackson, John D. Tate and Glennon Bass.
