Headline OBITUARY OF J. W. DUDLEY
Text John William Dudley, eight-month resident of Phoenix Arizona, died at his home at 11:30 o'clock Monday morning, June 10, 1929. The deceased was 57 years, 10 months old and had resided in McDonald County on Mikes Creek, south of Rocky Comfort before going to Arizona. He had planned to return to his farm this fall.

Mr. Dudley was born in Harrison Ark., moved to Oklahoma in his early youth and later to Missouri. He was united in marriage to Miss Malissa Lou Adair in 1897. To this union seven children were born, six of whom are living. They are: C. L. Dudley and Mrs. Ollie May Graham of Phoenix Ariz., Clinton Cyrus Dudley, La Junta Colo., William Ray and Hazel at home. He also has to mourn his departure the widow, three brothers and three sisters. Two of the brothers J. H. and S. H. Dudley and one sister, Fannie Wilkin reside in Phoenix and one brother Lee Dudley, Nannie and Cynthia Houndschell reside in Oklahoma.

He was laid to rest 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon June 12 in the Forest Lawn Cemetery at Phoenix Ariz. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. F. Hawkins.
