| Text | Ruby A. Dodson, age 86, of Purdy, died at 5:45 p.m. yesterday, September 28, 1999, at Monett Health Care Center in Monett following a long illness.
Mrs. Dodson was born November 8, 1912, in Purdy, and was a daughter of Jess and Leora (Jones) Keeling. She was a lifetime Purdy resident, a member of the Longview Methodist Church in Purdy, and a member of the Ladies Missionary Organization of the church. She married Herbert Dodson on January 1, 1933, in Butterfield. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bryan Keeling and Oliver Keeling. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 1, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery south of Purdy under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. |
