Text | Crilla J. DeWitt, 78, of Washburn, died November 17.
Mrs. DeWitt was born October 18, 1929, in Picher, Oklahoma, the daughter of James and Goldia (White) Cook. She was a graduate of Southwest High School in Washburn. She worked at Daisy Manufacturing in Rogers, Arkansas, for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Washburn and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She married Kennith DeWitt on July 19, 1946, in Columbus, Kansas. Additional survivors include one son, of Evanston, Wyoming; three daughters, of Washburn, of West Fork, Arkansas, and of Seligman; one half sister, of Kansas City; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren. Services were 2 p.m. today, November 20, at the First Baptist Church in Washburn with Rev. Glenn Erwin and Rev. Jim Erwin officiating. Burial was in Roller Cemetery in Washburn under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Memorials may be made to the church. |
