| Text | Onel "Oley" Deal, 83, of Cassville, died November 1 at South Barry County Hospital in Cassville.
Mr. Deal was born October 13, 1917, in Rocky Comfort, the son of Oliver and Mary Etta (Granger) Deal. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was employed at Blaalack Koon Chevrolet in Cassville as service manager for many years, retiring in 1981. He moved to Kansas City in 1985 and moved back to Cassville in 1995. He married Emma Mae Faulkner on November 8, 1945, in Columbus, Kansas. He was preceded in death by one sister, one brother, and one daughter, Linda Kay, on December 31, 1946. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, November 4, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Wayne Deffenbaugh officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, November 3, at the funeral home. |
