| Text | Ruben Davis died Thursday night, December 27, at the home of his sister, Mrs. C. C. Boles of near Powell, at the age of 65 years. Mr. Davis was attacked by a stroke of paralysis Wednesday and another stroke Thursday night about 10:30, which caused him to die suddenly.
He had been making his home for the past two years with his sister. He leaves two brothers; W. A. Davis, of Syrocuse (Syracuse), Kan., Isaac Davis of Dallas County, Mo., one sister, Mrs. C. C. Boles of near Powell and many friends to mourn his departure. The body was laid to rest Friday afternoon, December 28 in the cemetery at the Fox schoolhouse under the direction of the Pogue Undertaking Company of Wheaton. |
