| Text | Mildred Davis, 81, of Monett, died at 2:20 p.m. September 11 at Monett Health Care Center following a long illness.
Mrs. Davis was born January 18, 1918, in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Amos and Eva (Carson) Wools. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God in Monett. She married Harry Davis on October 18, 1949, in Valdese, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett with Rev. L. Jack Moore, Rev. William Fish, and Rev. Phillip Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Monett IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, September 14, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Light for the Lost. |
