Text | Colleen Ann Davis, 78, of Monett, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, in Lacoba Nursing Home, Monett.
She was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Washburn, the daughter of George Burl and Della Adeline (Snook) Creason. She was united in marriage to Raymond Davis, who preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one sister, Nadine Thompson; and a grandson, Dakota Myers. Survivors include: one son, Scott England and his wife, Wanda, of Wentworth; four daughters, Sandra Craig, of Monett, Carla Klopstein and her husband, Joe, of Wellsville, Kan., Rebecca Coatney, of Monett, and Dede England, of Monett; one stepson, Doug Davis, and his wife, Judy, of Russellville, Ark.; two stepdaughters, Cheryl Hayden and her husband, Darrel, of Sheridan, Ark., and Linda Latham and her husband, Greg, of Belleville, Ark.; three brothers, Dale Creason, of Lancaster, Calif., George Creason and his wife, Martha, of Rogers, Ark., and C.L. Creason and his wife, Ruth, of Houston, Texas; one sister, Sue Joplin and her husband, Tim, of Springfield; 14 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several step-great-grand-children. She received her education at Washburn, where she graduated from high school. For several years, she was employed at Tyson Foods at Monett. She was a member of Washburn First Baptist Church. Graveside services were held Tuesday, at Creason Cemetery, Ridgley, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Pastor John Henry conducted the services. |
