Text | Exeter, Mo. -- Mrs. Alpha Naomi Davidson, 71, Exeter route 1, died at 6:10 am Wednesday in St. Vincent's Hospital, Monett, where she had been a patient one day.
She was born March 10, 1900, in Exeter and had lived in Barry County most of her life. She was a member of the Wheaton (MO.) First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Ephron Davidson whom she married May 13, 1917; two sons, Lavon Davidson, Mountain Grove, Mo., and Carl Davidson, Wheaton; her mother, Mrs. Lena Tucker, Cassville, Mo.; four brothers, Burl Tucker and Arthur Tucker, both of Cassville, Thomas Tucker, Houston, TX., and Johnny Tucker, Exeter; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Higgs, Cassville, Mrs. Elsie Woodward, Roseville, CA., and Mrs. Ruth Reams, Nampa, ID, and nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 pm Friday in the Wheaton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanton Patterson and the Rev. Russell Davis officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Comfort (MO) Cemetery under the direction of McQueen Funeral Home of Wheaton. |
