| Headline | Dies at Pierce City |
| Text | Pierce City, Mo., Sept. 10. --- Homer Davis, 67 years old, a lifelong resident of Barry and Lawrence counties, died at 3:20 0’clock Sunday morning at his home here. He had been in ill health several months.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Minnie Davis; two brothers, Floyd Davis, Wheaton and Lee Davis, Kansas City; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Stansbury, Chicago abd Mrs. Lela Ledl, Kansas City, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock this afternoon at the Muncie chapel, north of Wheaton, with the Rev. Glen Dixon officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of the Wilks Brothers funeral home. |
