| Text | JANE, Mo. ---- Geneva S. Owens Davenport, 70, of Jane died July 25, 2006, at Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. She was born July 8, 1936, in Butterfield, Mo., to John and Telecy Allman Owens. She married Russell Davenport, on Aug. 3, 1973. She grew up in Butterfield, Mo., and attended school there. She worked several years as a diet center counselor. She moved to Jane in 1999.
Survivors include five sons, one daughter, one sister, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville with Doyle Russell officiating. Burial will be in Russell Cemetery at Butterfield. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. |
