Headline A SPLENDID WOMAN DIES NEAR WASBURN THURSDAY
Text The many friends of Mrs. F.P. Daniels, an old time and highly respected citizen, residing near Washburn will be grieved to know that she died last Thursday, following an illness extending over the past month.

Mrs. Daniels was an excellent lady of lovable character and stood high in the estimation of all her acquaintances. She had lived in that part of the county 16 years, coming here with her splendid husband from Watson, Mo. For many years, Mrs. Daniels was one of the county officials of the W.C.T.U., organization and was a consistent worker for the advancement of that splendid cause. She always took an active part in church work and was a consistence member of the Presbyterian church.

She was born at Watson, Mo., and was 57 years old. She had been married to her estimable husband, which is a prominent and high standing citizen of this county 31 years, and leaves one sister, who resides in McCune, Kansas, and two brothers in St. Louis, to mourn her passing. The sister and one brother attended the funeral services. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon after which the remains were laid to rest in the Washburn Prairie cemetery. A large number of sorrowing friends attended the services and interment despite the inclement weather.

Note: Wife of Fred P. Daniels and the daughter of John R. and Martha (Donyett) Harmon.
