Obit For Amanda E. (Santee) Daniels
Headline Obituary
Text Amanda E. (Santee) Daniels was born Dec. 29, 1861 in Kosciusko County, Indiana. At the age of four she moved to Livingston County, Mo. In the year 1880 she moved to Barry County. April 4, 1882 she was married to William Daniels and to this union were born nine children, seven boys and two girls. Those living are Mrs. S. J. Holmes, Wheaton, Mo., Roy Daniels, Purdy, Mo., W. W. Daniels, Delaware, Ok., and Finnis, Floyd, and Omer at home.

She professed faith in Christ March 1886 and united with the Prosperity Baptist Church where she was a member until the Wheaton Baptist Church was organized, she being a charter member of this church. On June 29, she was stricken with paralysis, which caused her death. She bore her suffering with much patience. All members of the family were at her bedside when the Angel of the Lord came for her.

She was a kind and loving mother, always willing to bear the hardships of the family. Besides the relatives she leaves a host of friends who mourn her departure. Her Christian example for 36 years past will live on to bless her memory. May we follow her examples and exalt her Christ. She died July 22, 1922 at the age of 60 years, 6 months, and 21 days.
