Text | Tiff City, Mo., -- Mary E. Dalton, 68 years old, Tiff City resident, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Walter Ruddick, Tiff City, Friday morning.
Mrs. Dalton was born February 1, 1896, at Garfield, Ark., and resided in the Washburn, Mo., area until moving to Tiff City one year ago. She was a member of the Patterson Heights Baptist church in Tiff City. Survivors, in addition to the daughter, include another daughter, Mrs. George Yonkin, Mullen, Neb.; three sons, Lawrence Dalton, Webb City, Mo., Clarence Dalton, Alliance, Neb., and Lester Dalton, Anson, Tex.; her mother, Mrs. Nanie Rose, Washburn; four brothers, Lemmie Rose, Jeff Rose, Johnnie Rose and Nello Rose, all of Washburn; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Lawson, Washburn, and Mrs. Jettie Wilson, Seligman, Mo., 33 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Roller Baptist church near Washburn with the Rev. Clyde Stilley officiating. Burial will be in Roller cemetery under direction of the Downey-Woodard-Mooney funeral home of Anderson. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Research Note: Daughter of Sam and Nancy Rose. |
