| Text | Denton Lee Cuendet, 71, of Monett, died at 7:20 a.m. July 8 at his home.
Mr. Cuendet was born October 30, 1928, in Monett, the son of Alfred and Grace Ann Malan Cuendet. He was a lifelong Monett resident. He was a 1946 Monett High School graduate and a 1948 Monett Junior College graduate. He was employed with Hilton Implement Company for many years and a retired dairy supply salesman. He was a member of the Army National Guard for eight years and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Monett. He married Louise E. Hicks on May 29, 1958. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Gaylord Cuendet. Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, July 11, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett with Rev. Walter Hamer officiating. Burial will be in Waldensian Cemetery south of Monett under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today, July 10, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Waldensian Cemetery Fund. |
