Text | Pauline Crawford, age 68, of Exeter, died at 8:12 a.m. yesterday, April 22, 1999, at Barry County Care Center in Cassville following a long illness. Mrs. Crawford was born May 11, 1930, in Midland, Texas, and was a daughter of Herman Cleo and Lilly Mae Stewart Starnes. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Exeter and was a homemaker. She married Roy Allen Crawford on December 24, 1949, in Bentonville, Arkansas. Survivors include four sons, one daughter, three sisters, 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin Starnes; and one sister, Ailene Spain. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, April 24, at Williamson Chapel in Cassville with Ben Loudermilk, minister, and Leonard Lovell, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 23, at the funeral home. |
