Text | Betty Cotton, 73, of Seligman died Feb. 20, 2005, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers. She was born April 14, 1931, in Hamlin, Texas, to Edgar and Pearl (Powell) Decker. She grew up in Hamlin and Abilene, Texas, and graduated from Hamlin High School in 1948. She moved to the area in 2000 from Texas and was an accountant for 32 years retiring in 1993. She taught Sunday school and Bible study at Central Baptist Church in Hamlin for many years. She was a member of Blessing Heights Worship Center in Cassville, Mo. She enjoyed fishing and camping. Survivors include her husband, four sons, five daughters; one sister; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pratt Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. |
