| Text | Fred L. Corn, 58, of Wheaton, died August 27 at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield.
Mr. Corn was born November 2, 1948, in Neosho. He was a graduate of Wheaton High School. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired in 1998 from EFCO Corporation after 19 years of employment. He attended the First Baptist Church in Wheaton and was a member of the American Cowboy Rodeo Association. He married Karen McCracken on January 3, 1993. Survivors include two daughters, his mother, one sister, six grandchildren and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Leslie Corn. Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, August 30, at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton with Mark Hall, pastor, officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Rocky Comfort Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, August 29, at the funeral home. |
