| Text | Bernice Mae Convirs, age 80, of Cassville, died at 10:45 p.m. November 30 at her home following a brief illness. Mrs. Convirs was born January 9, 1919, in the Simco community, and was a daughter of Shird and Lottie (Cornell) Bailey. She was a lifelong resident of the Cassville and Washburn areas and a homemaker. She attended the Assembly of God. She married Earl E. Martin on June 11, 1936, and he preceded her in death July 18, 1964. She married Jim Convirs on May 8, 1969. Additional survivors include four daughters, two brothers, two half-brothers, two half-sisters, 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Marvin Martin, on July 6, 1976; and one grandchild. Services will be 11 a.m. tomorrow, December 3, at Williamson Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Billy Gentry and Rev. John Atchley officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. |
