Text | Dorothy Maye Clay, 79, of Golden, died October 28 at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield. Mrs. Clay was born June 16, 1925, in Grandview, Arkansas, the daughter of Walter Don and Erma Jane Murray Roush. She was a farmer. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Golden and Golden Circle Shores. She was a Republican committee woman. She married Collins H. Clay on April 5, 1941, and he preceded her in death April 24, 1994. Survivors include one son, one daughter, of Bentonville, Arkansas; one sister of the state of New Hampshire; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Graveside services were 11 a.m. today, November 1, at Viney Creek Cemetery in Golden with Rev. George Clay officiating under the direction of Fohn Funeral Services of Cassville. |
