Text | Betty Jo Chadd, 73, of Exeter, passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, in Lacoba Nursing Home, Monett. She was born Nov. 5, 1939, in Monett, the daughter of Floyd and Cleda M. (Hurst) Dummitt. On Dec. 9, 1982, she was united in marriage to Bob Chadd, who survives. Additional survivors include: three sons, Bobby Pinkley and his wife, Carla, of Marshfield, Vince Pinkley and his wife, Dora, of Verona, and Greg Chadd and his wife, Cindy, of Cassville; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Rebecca Jo Pinkley; and one sister, Jimmie Moulder. She grew up and received her education in Monett. She had been employed at Walmart and Jay-Zee Garment Factory. For 20 years, she worked at Fasco, from which she retired. She had been an active member of the Red Hatters Club. She was an active member of Corinth Baptist Church, Cassville, where services were held today (Wednesday) under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Donnie Spears conducted the services. Burial was at Monett IOOF Cemetery, Monett. Contributions may be made to Corinth Baptist Church in her memory. |
